If it's just current Z owners and green n's then I think you are on the right track. If you are wanting to keep the community as a whole then something probably needs to change to cater to those ancient members (not me, I've only been here since 2000..). Unless the goal is to just lower the post count and the amount of time people spend on the site thus lowering the operating and bandwidth costs. If that's the goal then I completely understand and won't fight the change. Hosting, bandwidth, time away from the family to work on this will all take it's toll. I'd probably want the usage to go down too if it lowered my personal bills.
Granted, other than banning me, I won't be going anywhere. :) My visits will just be less frequent. I'm sure the other 4-6+ year non-z owning people are the same.
